Gender Equality; The Trending Controversy

0:00 0:00

Fact has it that while most males possess more physical strength and process their emotions through actions rather than words, women often excel at taking a complete view of concepts rather than focusing only on minute details.

The two human genders created by God are at immense logger heads with each other daily about the superior and the subordinate, the villain and victim.

Issues about how women are meant to foot the bills and how men are expected to participate in house chores.

There’s a whole lot of controversy about what each gender owe each other, the fact remains that they have both failed to recognize and appreciate the strength of each other, these genders have also failed to accept the limits and weaknesses of each other.

The key factor that's still lacking is the failure to appreciate each other as we are, the failure to see that we all are built differently and are ought to support each other, not make jest of our different weaknesses but be human enough to support each other.

This controversy has mounted pressure on people in the society, and have pushed them to go in search of an identity that will please the society, the one that will move judgement from their lives, and convince them to find comfort there, away from their true self, away from their original identity.

And who is the so called society we have been trying soo much to impress, they are our family members, our peers, our colleagues, our partners, all humans, all imperfect people also struggling to better themselves, those who are meant to accept us and stand by us, meant to be our solace, because we all have our flaws.

But no, we choose to push our true selves too hard and away just to present a perfect picture, when we should be embracing who we are made to be.

There's no harm in working to become a better version of yourself, we all are works in progress, but modifying and editing yourself to match up with society standards, trashing your actual self into the bin for fear of judgement, okay!!, that just crosses the line.

The same society we all are pressured by, is the same society that's loosing itself and is in dire need of original people, enough with the fakes, with the push, it has ruined our unity and fading our dignity.

People who stand out, the ones who decide to be themselves, who aren’t scared of the so called societal judgement, are marked out as weirdos when within us , we all wish we could be ourselves, show who we truly are without fear, within us, we genuinely admire those who do not let the society clip their wings.

There are good men, as well as good women, there are people who still possess true goodness in them, let us not make life experiences silence the few gems dwelling around us.

Yes, women, can help with the bills, it doesn’t ruin anything, men, can help around with chores it doesn’t ruin anything either or ruin your masculinity.

Women could take up tough jobs, can perform well as leaders if they are up for it and have the zeal. it’s not impossible. Men could cry if they want and fully express how they feel. its not impossible also, we are all humans, let’s stop setting these high walls in the name of society standards, these invisible, unwritten made up laws, that keeps us always on our toes.

We should not normalize putting ourselves behind bars, it is to our own detriment. let’s not forget, the creator of the universe, the one who gave us life, and made us happy.

The fading glory of humanity has to be restored, we are meant to be our brothers keeper, the world is sour, it needs to be renewed, lets be human again, lets accept our identity, lets work hard to keep goodness alive and show each other that the world could be a better place, lets take out this judgement, we are all works in progress, none is perfect, none is without fault, accept each other.

Pushing ourselves and others away from their uniqueness, forgetting that we all are not flawless.

What really should be done is, to support one another to become better versions of ourselves, applauding our wins, while not making the atmosphere inconducive.

As said earlier the missing piece has always been love, the failure to accept and appreciate each other

for who we are.

Let's try, put efforts to be real the world is tired of counterfeits.
