Overcoming stage fright.

0:00 0:00

Have you ever had that fear when you want to perform on stage???

That anxiety, that fear that suddenly comes, that cold feet, that unexpected sweating, that shaking of hands that seems uncontrollable, that fidgeting. That is the absence of courage, that is stage fright.

This syndrome does not come because we can't do it but because we feel we can't or that the crowd would laugh at our mistakes. But the ability to look over people's faces, stand before them and speak is what makes us phenomenal.

Let's talk about how we can overcome fear or stage fright:

Before you engage in audience speaking you have to master your vocabulary, yes a good command of whatever language you want to use will make you fluent while speaking to your audience. That will eliminate fear and make you speak with confidence.

Also try constant practice before the main presentation,a presentation that will be done next month should be practiced at least six times per week to ensure perfection and accuracy. This will make you stand out and speak fluently with zero fear of what people will say or how they will see you.

Also have you tried practicing in the mirror or Infront of a close friend?????

Yes you have to practice in front of someone and allow that person rate your presentation before the main performance, that will make your speech perfect. A good and neat dressing on your day of presentation will also make you be confident in yourself, you should also avoid cramming sentences to avoid forgetting them.

Lastly, believe that you can do it. The best morale you can get is the one you give to yourself, tell yourself I can do it and this is just a small feat.

Follow this steps and see yourself into perfection whilst overcoming stage fright.
