Strive Makes Bold Bitcoin Move, Outpacing Industry Giant Strategy.
In a striking display of conviction, Dallas based Bitcoin treasury company Strive has just made its largest weekly Bitcoin purchase in months and surprisingly, it's left the industry's biggest player in the dust.
Between June 15 and June 21, Strive snapped up 759 Bitcoin at an average price of roughly $65,850 per coin, totaling about $50 million. This aggressive move pushed the company's total Bitcoin holdings to an impressive 19,864 BTC.
What makes this particularly noteworthy is the context. Over the previous two reporting periods, Strive had only added 32 BTC and 73 BTC respectively a combined total of just $6.8 million. This week's acquisition represents a dramatic shift in tempo.
But here's the real headline: during that same week, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), the undisputed king of corporate Bitcoin holdings, purchased only 520 BTC. It's a rare moment when a smaller player has actually outpaced the market leader in weekly accumulation.
The company's latest SEC filing also shows solid financial footing, with cash reserves climbing from $141.4 million to $144.5 million, and Class A shares expanding to 71.8 million.
Strive's journey into Bitcoin treasury management began in January 2026 through its merger with Semler Scientific, which added 5,048 BTC to its books from day one. Since then, the company has been on a steady upward trajectory, crossing the 15,000 BTC mark in early May.
Beyond its direct holdings, Strive also maintains exposure to Strategy through 505,000 shares of preferred stock, though that investment's fair value dipped slightly to around $44.7 million.
With nearly 20,000 Bitcoin now under its belt, Strive is rapidly establishing itself as one of the fastest growing corporate Bitcoin accumulators in the market and this week, it proved it can go head to head with the giants.
