Mark Your Calendars: The 2027 Grammys Have a Date—and a New TV Home.
The Recording Academy just announced the official timeline for the 2027 Grammy Awards, and it’s time to start the countdown.
Mark November 16, 2026, on your calendar—that’s when the nominees will be revealed. The main event follows a few months later, on February 7, 2027, when music’s biggest night takes over Los Angeles.
So, what music qualifies? Eligible albums and tracks must have been released between August 31, 2025, and August 28, 2026.
The ceremony will go down at the Crypto.com Arena in LA, and for the first time in over 50 years, it won’t air on CBS. Instead, you can catch it live on ABC, plus stream it on Disney+ and Hulu.
On Instagram, the Academy hyped up the announcement with an all-caps post: “IT’S TIIIIIME! The road to the 2027 Grammys officially begins now. Mark your calendars for submissions, nominations, voting, and all the key moments leading up to Music’s Biggest Night.”
This year’s show marks a major shake-up after more than five decades of partnership with CBS.
