I’m Not Interested In Marriage – Chike

0:00 0:00

Nigerian singer Chike Ezekpeazu has declared that he is not planning to get married anytime soon, but he already knows he wants to have a daughter in the future.

Newscall media reports that he made this known during an interview with Chude where he spoke about his thoughts on relationships and how he approaches meeting women.

The singer said he pays attention to whether a woman grew up with her father in the home, adding that it is one of the things he considers when getting to know someone.

According to him, a father’s presence during upbringing can affect how relationships turn out later in life, and this has shaped how he asks questions when meeting women.

Chike also stated that one of the first things he often asks a woman is about her father’s presence in her life.

He said: “I’m not interested in walking down the aisle anytime soon, but I already know I want a daughter. I’ve noticed that women who grow up without a father in their lives often have a messed-up love life, so one of the first things I ask a woman I meet is, ‘Where’s your father?’”

His comments come amid rumours linking him to a marital crisis involving media personality Frank Edoho and his former wife Sandra Onyenucheya.
